The action consists in the redevelopment of the entire public lighting system by replacing the lighting fixtures with LED. The replacement concerns 2193 light points out of a total of 2387, 1215 of which do not comply with the legislation. The LEDs guarantee: • greater luminous efficiency • longer life of light sources • lower energy consumption • dimmability or power differentiation in the ignition cycle • excellent visibility • increased visual comfort. The redevelopment project foresees a consumption as planned of about 437 MWh/year, allowing a 54% reduction in electricity consumption for public lighting.
